What are the space choices and rental rates? Is the rental included in the package price?
There are several options to choose from based on preferences and especially the number of participants in the wedding. Please contact our wedding manager at wedding@gnzh.sk. The prices for venue hire depend primarily on the date of the wedding. Any private space in the hotel is subject to a charge and is not included in the wedding package price.

Is it possible to have a civil or religious ceremony at the hotel?
Civil ceremonies are performed in case of nice weather in the exterior of the castle, in case of bad weather and during the winter months in the premises of the Arcadia Hall, in the County Hall or in the Diana Winter Garden. It is also possible to hold a religious ceremony in the chateau chapel, which is located directly in the hotel, but with a maximum capacity of up to 45 guests. There are two churches in the vicinity of the chateau, right at the entrance gate, a Roman Catholic and an Evangelical church.

What do wedding packages include?
There are 3 types of wedding packages available, namely the GACH package at EUR 70 per person, the DIANE package at EUR 80 per person and the FORGACH package at EUR 125 per person. All packages include a toast, 3 or 4-course dinner, coffee, a midnight buffet which is selected according to the client's preferences, a tasting of the wedding menu before the wedding and a suite for the newlyweds for the wedding night free of charge. What is the room capacity and are higher discounts offered when booking more rooms and what are they?
We have 49 rooms of different categories from Standard rooms to Royal Suite; total with extra beds 138 beds. Cots are also available. The discounted rate depends on a number of factors and these are mainly the date of the wedding, whether it is a high season or low season, possibly a winter wedding, the number of rooms and nights booked and the choice of wedding package. Our wedding manager will be happy to prepare a tailor-made offer for you at wedding@gnzh.sk .

How about the decoration of the space?
The wedding decoration is not included in the price of renting the space, as each bride has her own ideas. Of course, it can be arranged with the help of our castle florist, or on your own, or through wedding agencies. We can recommend our external suppliers such as DJ, band, photographer, videographer, emcee, hair stylist, make-up artist, headpieces, etc. who we work with and have excellent experiences not only for us but also for our clients.

Do you also have experience with multi-day weddings and how do they work?
It is very popular to spend several days at the castle with family and friends during such a beautiful life step. Then we prepare an interesting program for the wedding guests, such as a pre-wedding introductory dinner in the Nicolaus wine bar combined with a Slovak evening, a performance of folk ensembles Ipeľ or Urpín, to revive or introduce our customs and culture to all the participants of the wedding. Also popular are cocktail hours on the terrace of the Kupola with light refreshments, or a barbecue in front of the wine bar.
